PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. THEY CONTAIN IMPORTANT PROVISIONS GOVERNING YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS, INCLUDING A LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (SECTION 14), AN ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE (SECTION 13), AND A GOVERNING-LAW AND VENUE PROVISION (SECTION 17).

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Z2 Hockey LLC ("Z2 Hockey," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Z2 Hockey website (z2hockey.com), member portal, scheduling system, communications, training programs, camps, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account, registering a participant, purchasing a session or subscription, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a minor participant, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian with full authority to bind the minor and that the minor will comply with these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to create an account. Minors may participate in our programs only when registered by their parent or legal guardian.

3. Account Registration and Security

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us promptly at info@z2hockey.com of any unauthorized access or other security breach.

4. Program Registration and USA Hockey

All participants must hold current USA Hockey registration prior to participating in any on-ice activity, in accordance with USA Hockey policy. Failure to maintain USA Hockey registration will result in exclusion from on-ice activities without refund.

5. Fees, Billing, and Subscriptions

  • Drop-in sessions are billed at the published rate per session and charged at the time of booking through our payment processor.
  • Subscriptions (where offered) auto-renew on the published interval until canceled by the account holder. Subscription fees are charged in advance for the upcoming period.
  • Camps and special events require payment in full or a published deposit at the time of registration.
  • Third-party fees (including USA Hockey registration and rink ice fees paid directly to a facility) are the responsibility of the participant and are paid directly to the third party unless expressly noted.

All fees are stated and charged in U.S. dollars and are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which will be added where required.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Code of Conduct

All participants, parents, and guardians agree to abide by the Z2 Hockey Code of Conduct Agreement. Documented conduct incidents are tracked. Three (3) incidents within a ninety (90) day period — or a single severe incident — may result in suspension or termination of program enrollment without refund.

8. Safety, Concussion Protocol, and Emergency Treatment

Participants and parents acknowledge that ice hockey is an inherently dangerous activity. All participants must comply with the Z2 Hockey Concussion Management Protocol. By participating in any on-ice activity, you confirm that the participant has executed the applicable Liability Waiver and Authorization for Medical Treatment.

9. Photos, Video, and Media

Z2 Hockey may photograph or video participants during programs and events for promotional purposes only with a signed Photo, Video & Media Release. You may opt out of any individual channel or revoke the release at any time via your account settings; revocation is effective going forward and does not require retraction of previously published material.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose;
  • Interfere with the security, integrity, or availability of the Services;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data;
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or create derivative works of the Services;
  • Use the Services to harass, defame, threaten, or harm any other user, coach, official, or staff member;
  • Misrepresent your identity or your authority to act on behalf of a minor.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

11. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all content, software, trademarks, logos, design, and branding, are owned by Z2 Hockey or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes consistent with these Terms. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

12. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit through the Services, including comments, messages, and feedback ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Z2 Hockey a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, store, reproduce, display, and create derivative works of the User Content as necessary to operate and improve the Services. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.

13. Assumption of Risk and Release

You acknowledge that ice hockey carries inherent risks of injury, including catastrophic injury and death. By using the Services and by separately executing our Liability Waiver & Release of Claims, you assume all such risks and release Z2 Hockey from claims arising out of participation, to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Liability Waiver controls in any conflict with these Terms regarding assumption of risk and release of claims.

14. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

14.1 Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ANY WARRANTY ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

14.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL Z2 HOCKEY, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, COACHES, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SERVICES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100). THIS LIMITATION DOES NOT APPLY TO LIABILITIES THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Z2 Hockey and its officers, directors, members, coaches, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party; or (c) your use of the Services or participation in any Z2 Hockey program.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms, our policies, or applicable law, or that we believe is harmful to other users, Z2 Hockey, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting info@z2hockey.com. Sections 11–18 survive termination.

17. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any action arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

18. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Code of Conduct, Liability Waiver, and other documents incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Z2 Hockey regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements.
  • Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
  • No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Changes. We may modify these Terms by posting a revised version on the Services and updating the "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be communicated by email or through a notice in the Services. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
  • Notices. We may provide notices by email to the address associated with your account or by posting in the Services.
