REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Effective May 28, 2026 · Version 3
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Z2 Hockey LLC Effective Date: 2026-05-28 · Last Updated: 2026-05-28
This Refund & Cancellation Policy is incorporated into the Terms of Service and explains how cancellations, refunds, credits, and chargebacks are handled across Z2 Hockey programs.
1. General Principles
- All times are local to Nashville, Tennessee (Central Time).
- "Session start" means the published start time of a specific session.
- Refunds, when issued, are returned to the original payment method.
- Refund processing typically takes 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- Third-party fees (e.g., USA Hockey registration, rink ice fees paid directly to a facility, government taxes) are governed by the third party and are not refundable through Z2 Hockey.
- Z2 Hockey reserves the right to deny refund requests that violate this Policy or that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent.
2. Elite Ice — Drop-in Sessions
- Cancellation more than 48 hours before session start: 50% refund of the Z2 program fee.
- Cancellation 48 hours or less before session start, or no-show: no refund; the session is forfeited.
- Cancellation of a session paid for with a credit pack: more than 48 hours before session start, the credit is returned to your pack balance; 48 hours or less, or no-show, the credit is forfeited.
- Z2 cancellation (including weather, coach unavailability, low enrollment, facility closure, or any other Z2-initiated cancellation): full refund of the Z2 program fee — or, for credit-funded bookings, the credit is returned — or, at the participant's option, full credit applied to a future session.
- Credit packs: Elite Ice credit packs are sold as a fixed quantity of session credits. Refunds and credit returns apply at the session level only (per the rules above). A purchased credit pack is not refundable as a whole.
- Cancel via your member account or by emailing info@z2hockey.com.
3. Elite Ice — Subscriptions (where offered)
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
- Cancel anytime: you may cancel a subscription at any time through your member account. Cancellation stops future renewals; the current billing period remains active through its scheduled end.
- No pro-rated mid-cycle refunds for subscriptions, except as required by law or under the Z2-cancellation provision in Section 2.
4. Garage Lab (1-on-1 Off-Ice Training)
- Garage Lab is sold as session credits or single sessions.
- Cancellation by participant more than 48 hours before session start: session credit returned to your account.
- Cancellation 48 hours or less, or no-show: the credit is forfeited.
- Z2 cancellation (including weather, coach unavailability, low enrollment, facility closure, or any other Z2-initiated cancellation): credit returned to your account, or — at the participant's option — full monetary refund.
- Credit expiration: Garage Lab session credits expire one (1) year from purchase. Expired credits are non-refundable to the customer, except where Tennessee law (including the Tennessee Uniform Unclaimed Property Act, Tenn. Code Ann. § 66-29-101 et seq.) requires Z2 to remit the unredeemed value to the State of Tennessee as unclaimed property, in which case the customer's recovery is governed by Tennessee Treasury Department unclaimed-property procedures.
- Credit packs: Garage Lab credit packs are sold as a fixed quantity of session credits. Refunds and credit returns apply at the session level only (per the rules above). A purchased credit pack is not refundable as a whole.
- Travel surcharges for off-site Garage Lab sessions are fully refundable on cancellation, regardless of timing.
5. Camps and Multi-Day Programs
Each camp's cancellation terms are set by the camp coach at the time the camp is created and are shown on the camp's registration page before checkout. Specifically:
- Deposit: If a deposit is required for a camp, the deposit is non-refundable except where Z2 cancels the camp.
- Cancellation deadline: If a camp publishes a cancellation deadline, cancellations on or before that deadline receive the camp's published refund percentage on the remaining balance (the published percentage may be any value from 0% to 100%, chosen by the camp coach). Cancellations after the published deadline are non-refundable.
- No deadline published: If a camp does not publish a cancellation deadline, registration for that camp is non-refundable except where Z2 cancels.
- Z2 cancellation (including weather, coach unavailability, low enrollment, facility closure, or any other Z2-initiated cancellation): full refund of all amounts paid for affected camp days, including any deposit. Where a camp is partially cancelled — for example, one day of a multi-day camp lost to weather — refunds are pro-rated to the affected day(s).
6. Travel Program (where offered)
- Travel surcharge paid in advance is fully refundable on cancellation up to the published travel-commitment date.
- Monthly program fees are non-refundable for any period that has begun, except where Z2 cancels the program for that period.
- Roster removal for conduct: governed by Section 8 of this Policy.
7. Injuries and Medical Withdrawals
If a participant cannot continue in a program due to a documented injury or medical condition (supported by a physician's note submitted to info@z2hockey.com), Z2 will:
- For drop-in and Garage Lab: convert remaining bookings to credits with extended expiration of up to twelve (12) months from the withdrawal date.
- For subscriptions: pause the subscription for up to ninety (90) days, after which the subscription resumes or is canceled at the participant's election.
- For camps: issue a pro-rata refund for unused camp days, less any non-refundable deposit.
8. Conduct-Related Removals
Participants suspended or removed from a program for violation of the Code of Conduct Agreement may forfeit some or all amounts paid for the affected program, subject to applicable Tennessee law. Where Z2, in its sole discretion, elects to issue a partial refund or credit (including a pro-rata refund for sessions not yet delivered at the time of removal), that decision is not a waiver of this Policy or an admission that any other refund is owed.
9. Disputes and Chargebacks
- Please contact info@z2hockey.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We are committed to resolving billing disputes promptly and in good faith.
- Initiating a chargeback for a charge that complies with this Policy and the Terms of Service may, in our sole discretion, result in suspension of your account and recovery of fees from future credits or refunds.
10. Currency and Method
- All transactions are denominated in U.S. dollars.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment processor (Stripe). Where the original method is no longer valid, we may issue a credit to your account or, where required by law, an alternative method.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may modify this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through a notice in the Services and take effect on the new "Effective Date" above. Bookings and subscriptions made before the change are governed by the version of this Policy in effect at the time of the transaction.
